Saving Threatened Amphibians

Frog

The International Union for Conservation (IUCN) has determined that according to Red List criteria, 32% of the world's known amphibian species are threatened. Important indicators of ecosystem health and sources of potent medicines, amphibian populations are facing rapid decline due to disease, habitat degradation, and climate change. We talk with Jaime García-Moreno of the Amphibian Survival Alliance (ASA) about the Alliance and its work to try to save this imperiled group of animals.
